Memories to You Giveaway!!

I'm a little slow in spreading the word about this one. (Maybe it's because I'm hoping to win, and the fewer people that enter, the higher my chances are???? hehehehe....) Anyway, one of my favorite shops, and fellow Homefront Team member is having a fabulous giveaway on her blog in honor of Mother's Day. In addition, she's also having a fantastic sale at the moment, so make sure you stop by her shop and check it out!!

And then......

I've made a few attempts at wallets before. Unfortunately, there was always something "off" about them. My customers kept asking for wallets, though, so eventually, I decided to buy a pattern from Etsy (one that allowed me to sell the products that I make, of course), and give it a go. I purchased two patterns from NapKittenPatterns, one for shorter wallets, and one for wallets with a place to have your checkbook. I made a few small changes to the pattern that I felt would make them a better fit for my customers, but otherwise the patterns were great. Here are my first attempts.....

These wallets have 6 card slots, two longer slots (perfect for cash on one side and a checkbook on the other). They also have a zippered coin pouch on the back. I will be adding these to my shop soon, along with many other colors. I'll also be working on the shorter style wallets as well. As always, if there is a fabric combination that you'd really like to see, just let me know.

Don't miss this sale at TwoSeasideBabes

TwoSeasideBabes had a bad day yesterday. A really, really bad day, which you can read about here. As a result of their terrible, horrible, no good very bad day, they are having a really big sale. (The details are in that forum post and also in her shop announcement.) As you know, I am a big fan of their hats. I've given them as gifts and even have one myself. So, I can assure you that you DO NOT want to miss out on this sale.

New products, new ideas....

I've been very busy lately prepping for the Queen Bee Market. In preparation for that, I've been taking a good long look at my shop and thinking about what I need more of. I've got lots and lots of ideas that I am really excited about now. I've got more ideas than I have time, to be completely honest with you....

With that said, I'd like to show you something new. I love my pleated purses that I have in my shop now. I love working with fun prints, but I also understand that some days, you just want something simple. With that said, I've been working on some reversible pleated purses. One side features a beautiful print, and the other side is a solid. That way, you can chose what suits your mood best that day.

This purses can be found in my Etsy Shop. Also, this design was based on feedback that I got from one of my wonderful customers, so please feel free to let me know what you'd like to see in my shop. I'm all ears!
